Painting and Faux Finishing? Decorative Paint work is the application of a
paint or glaze in a decorative fashion without necessarily emulating a genuine
element or surface. Faux Finishing is the application of paint or glaze to
specifically simulate an element or surface or material of some sort, such as
Marble, Fabric, Stone, Wood, Wallpaper and so on.
